this is the second part of a quite serious multi-part storyline.
in this part, kenma spends the afternoon with kuroo, which ultimately leads him to being late in attending to his church duties. this results in an argument with his mother that emphasizes his struggle between obeying his church and following the God he knows or being true to his identity.
the following week, he meets with his old nekoma teammates at a bar, at which he gets drunk after too many shots. kuroo takes kenma home with him to care for him in his drunken state, though things take an unexpected route when kenma begins to confess his long-time internal conflict that kuroo stands at the center of.
