As followers of Jesus, we are called to be 'Set Apart' from the ways of the world, pursuing holiness as we live by HIS grace, for HIS glory, and in HIS power to bring about HIS Kingdom in and through HIS people. We are “Set Apart” for a purpose, to intentionally live lives of obedient faith and holiness “for the sake of HIS name among all the nations.”

This week we will continue with our Set Apart Series and explore Romans 4. We will learn more about what God meant when He says that “Abraham believed God and it was counted to him as righteousness!” What is the promise that Abraham believed and what are we to believe today?

Discussion Questions -

1. Is it hard to take God at His Word sometimes? What causes you to doubt at times? What assures you about Him and His Word and His love for us? Read 1 John 3:1-3.

2. Paul writes that the Righteous will live by faith in Romans 1:17 and that it’s all from faith to faith. How can you rest in God’s Word and live more in faith, walking in step with God and His Spirit working thru you?

3. Eph 2:8-10 says that we’re saved by grace thru faith, not by works, but we’re saved FOR good works? How can you live this out? How can you tell others in your circle about the Gospel?

4. God wants you to have assurance and know where you stand with Him. He wants to be your ABBA- Father, your “Dad!” Rest assured in Him and His promise, read 1 John 5:13.
