Balance Pak 300 s a quick dissolving granule that increases water hardness/calcium. Here Lynda explains how to use it properly. All pools need the correct levels of calcium in the water however it is particularly important for concrete, tile, plaster, quartzon, marble plaster and others. Insufficient calcium levels encourage deterioration of the pool surface and equipment while too much causes calcium deposits to form in pipework, on the pool surface or in salt cells.
