Welcome back to Speedrunning with Mel! The next requested candidate in our series of marriage speedruns is none other than Shane I Can Fix Him, No Really I Can.

Shane loves Beer, Hot Pepper, Pepper Poppers, and Pizza. We’ll be utilizing a couple of these loved gifts as well as some liked gifts!

As always, we start with a brand new file, and we’ll make sure to start with multiple cabins so we can sleep on the south side of the farm closest to Cindersap forest where Shane lives. Plant the 15 parsnip seeds and gift him 2 parsnips on Spring 11 and 12 as well as a Salmonberry on Spring 18.

Forage the farm for money for beer to enable his bad habits on his Spring 20 birthday (so much for fixing him). Give him 2 more gifts on Spring 23 and 24 and do a little dance at the Flower Dance with him.

In Summer, plant a field of hot peppers and gift gold star peppers all the way through 8 hearts. All the extra peppers will be used for money for the house upgrade and mermaid’s pendant.

In Fall, sell all the peppers to Pierre and buy a bouquet. Ask Shane to be your boyfriend, and ask Robin to upgrade your house. Keep giving Shane gifts until he’s our bestie, and then on the next rain day buy the pendant from the mariner and propose.

Congratulations, you officially have a grumpy boi living on your farm and it only took about an hour!
