Once upon a time, Dave Lindenbaum was the “most inappropriate financial analyst in J.P. Morgan history.” Not long after, he was the “most inappropriate Human Resources Director in the history of the Beverly Hills Assisted Living Center.”
And while Dave may very well be just as inappropriate as he ever was, he’s his own boss these days. No matter his manners (don’t worry, he’s actually a peach), Dave outgrew those roles to become a super successful entrepreneur. Now, Dave is here to share some advice on achieving business success.
I was persistent in getting Dave Lindenbaum to come on for an episode of the Doctor Entrepreneur Podcast for a few reasons. First, I knew I’d be doing a massive service to you guys—my audience—by introducing you to Dave’s marketing genius. More selfishly, I also liked the idea of getting yet another chance to pick his brain.
BIG ENTREPRENEUR THREE
- Know Thyself; Effectuate Time Management Skills That Work For You.
- Download (and Utilize) Loom to Improve Your Customer Service.
- Read The Goal By Eliyahu M. Goldratt Or—Even Better—Read The Four Hour Workweek By Tim Ferriss.
LEARNING FROM THE PAST
- For Dave, his biggest mistake was not spending enough time with his dad. While they spent quality time together in the years leading up to his death, Dave wishes he had given him more attention.
- Dave believes that entrepreneurs such as himself make the mistake of thinking that the time we invest into something is a “zero sum game.”
- If Dave could go back in time, he’d certainly coach himself on one of his Big Entrepreneur Three: Time Management Skills. He’d stress to his younger self the importance of having micro end goals in mind as well as not being a cheapskate.

- While Dave is an easy man to find on Google or YouTube, he’ll do his best to say hi if you just hit him up on FaceBook. Unsurprisingly, his profile goes by the name of “Dave Kombucha Lindenmbaum.” And if you don’t want to fly under his radar, try not to send him a stale message—get creative about it!
- Alternatively, maybe you have a website where you’ve set up a funnel to sell a product, service, or something of that nature. If you want to improve your checkout page, Dave’s company has a mini $44 workshop called https://convertmyoffer.com
