Ep95: It's not all fun & games but it is worthwhile (mostly!) - Video

This week we're doing all the jobs that need doing constantly but are not the FUN stuff. So we start by clearing the overgrowth from the front garden, specifically the tansy (bane of my life!!), and then I make myself go down to the plot and STRIM - I promise I don't moan about it too much. The other thing that needs constant attention is of course the watering, so we combine watering the home veg garden with a little tour. Lastly, we head back to the plot to finish with a nicer task - harvesting the remaining first early and second early potatoes.

It's not all dull jobs though - there's some tomato taste testing, a summer fete, an animal sanctuary open day, and LOADS of Dorie in this episode!

CORRECTION - the tomato in the allotment greenhouse which I say is an Alice's Dream was actually Black Trifele - and I've now eaten it! ????
