About this space
One of THREE Studio Container Homes on a private ranch minutes from Colorado Springs attractions (Air Force, Garden of Gods, etc.). All hotel amenities: queen bed, smart TV, wifi, bathroom with shower, kitchenette, fridge, etc. Walkout deck with a propane grill, fire pit, & hot tub — perfect for morning sunrises and chill evenings. There is little "roughing it" in this professionally engineered container home, but you may hear coyotes at night or view wildlife from your front deck.
The space
⛰ WINTER SEASON. Winter snow can be magical (especially with a hot tub!), but the cold can be challenging. Few days in Monument drop into single-digit-degree weather, but when it does we will shut the water off to avoid freezing pipes. The hot tub will still be operational, and we will provide a 5-gallon cooler of water to use indoors to drain into the sink. Additional amenities on your front porch will still work (hot tub, propane grill, fire pit), but be sure to dress for the weather.

⛰ CONTAINER. Your 20' container home was built by our son, Micah, a graduate from Lincoln Tech's Welding Academy in Denver. He engineered this simple-yet-open layout specifically designed for safe and cozy experiences for people who want a restful, semi-outdoor experience. Our property spans 40 acres with a year-round flowing creek and shared areas with the owners and other outdoorsy visitors.

⛰ OUTDOORS. Chairs are set up for you on your deck and ready to use with a fire pit to enjoy. A propane grill can be used for grilling, and we include a cast-iron pan with utensils. All propane is provided for FREE. We have outdoor cats who hunt the property. You are welcome to pet them, but please do not feed them or bring them into your Container. Wild animals may roam the property, so keep all food indoors. Directions and personal hiking recommendations to local trails are included in your welcome material when you arrive.

⛰ LOCATION. The Monument/Colorado Springs area is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Conveniently located along the Rampart Range of Colorado, your Container is nestled in a rural-residential homestead with a flowing creek as part of your viewing pleasure. A mile to the East is civilization (Walmart, restaurants, shops, etc.), and a mile to the West is dense mountain forests (Pike National Forest). Public lakes are within a couple miles, and tons of tourist attractions a short drive away (Garden of the Gods, Air Force Academy, etc.).
