During my visit to Batu Caves, a sacred Hindu temple nestled within towering limestone cliffs, I was immersed in the vibrant energy of faith and culture. Climbing the 272 colorful steps to the temple, I marveled at the towering statue of Lord Murugan and the breathtaking cave shrines. Inside, the air was thick with devotion, incense, and the rhythmic chants of worshippers. A priest gently placed a red powder, *kumkum*, on my forehead, a symbol of blessing and protection. It was a humbling and spiritual experience, leaving me with a profound sense of connection to the sacred space.
