If you’re still holding out hope for Megumi surviving Jujutsu Kaisen, you’re probably gonna wanna watch this, because Gege Akutami has made it pretty clear what’s going to happen with the character in the final arc of the series, or atleast he seemed to be sure back in 2020 when he spoke about the series in the Mini Character Guidebook, and proceeded to explain that even all the way back then he had the conclusion of every important point of the JJK story already decided, even down to what exactly he was going to include in the final chapter of the series, however Akutami at that time said that he still was really undecided on lots of stuff, but one example of the OPPOSITE being true is Fushiguro’s ending. Going back in the series it’s clear to see that Sukuna always had a plan for Megumi, however with Sukuna fully reincarnating using Megumi’s body AND Megumi taking Gojo’s Domain Expansion repeatedly PLUS Sukuna’s Bath and Attack on Tsumiki, I’m really starting to worry that the ending Gege saw for Megumi is actually already here, however like we’ve discussed previously the author has also made comments regarding Gojo and Megumi discussing the truth about Toji, so is Megumi really down and out or is it still possible for him to get control of his body again?
