Former Porsche Junior Klaus Bachler set a lap time of 2:16.446 minutes in the Superpole session on Friday evening. The Austrian put the 911 GT3 R from Dinamic Motorsport into the second row of the grid in his first of two attempts. He was 0.22 seconds short of pole position on the 7.004-kilometre circuit. Bachler shares the approximately 368 kW (500 hp) GT3 racing car with his compatriot Thomas Preining and the Frenchman Côme Ledogar.

The second-best result for Porsche was achieved by works driver Kévin Estre: the Frenchman lapped the Circuit de Spa in the GPX Racing racing car as sixth fastest in 2:16.702 minutes. Together with his teammates Michael Christensen (Denmark) and Richard Lietz (Austria), Estre already won the Belgian 24-hour classic for GPX in 2019. Sven Müller of Germany, another former Porsche Junior, ended the shootout of the 20 fastest drivers in qualifying in fourteenth place. He shares Toksport WRT's 911 GT3 R with Germany's Marvin Dienst and France's Julien Andlauer.
