This stream hasn't been stocked by the state since last May. Amazing the quality of holdover trout still left in here. I know there are many guys who can't get out to some of our state's blue ribbon trout waters, but that doesn't mean there still can't be great fishing close to home on our regular put-n-take stocked streams. Today, I hope you're convinced or inspired to hit some of your local streams in search of some very good holdover trout. You gotta do some scouting and walking, but you might just find yourself a nice honey hole. Have fun!!
