✨Soul Link Rules:
1.) Encounters for players on each route are linked. If one player fails to catch their encounter for a route, the other player must box or release their encounter for that route as well. If both players successfully catch their first encounter for the route, those two Pokémon are “linked” as partners. If one player fails to capture their first encounter in an area, the second player must forfeit their encounter in their corresponding area. For this series Pokemon can be added to the team regardless of gender or typings.

2.) You can only catch the first Pokémon encountered in each area, and none else. If the first Pokémon encountered faints or flees, there are no second chances.

3.) When one player’s Pokémon faints, or is boxed its partner on the other player’s team must be boxed or released as well.

4.) It’s common to randomize the encounters on each route for this challenge, to promote greater Pokémon and type variety between the teams, especially on early routes where Pokémon selection is limited.

5.) You must also nickname all of your Pokémon, for the sake of forming "stronger emotional bonds."

6.) The first pair to both beat Cynthia with at least one "alive" pair of Pokemon will be declared the winner of the series
