Using Our New SUNNEN HONING Machine! | Making a D10 Dozer Barrel | Part 2 - Video

This new barrel needs honing so we're going to be using our new Sunnen horizontal honing machine! This video is part 2 of making a new barrel for a Caterpillar D10 Dozer blade lift cylinder. In this video we show machining up the new barrel, fitting and welding on the head flange, trunnion mount and stand offs that we made in Part 1. We also show the complete setup and honing of the barrel using our Sunnen HTA-4100 horizontal tube hone. Keep an eye out for Part 3 where we will be making the new barrel end and finishing the build of this new cylinder barrel!
