York Regional Police Chief Jim MacSween said in an update on Monday that the suspect in Vaughan, Ont. condo shooting, 73-year-old Francesco Villi, was in dispute with condo board over living conditions in the building.
Villi repeatedly posted on his social media accounts complaining of noise in his apartment from an electric room below his unit. He was involved in court action against the condo.
Villi died after an interaction with police on Sunday after allegedly taking the lives of five people in the building. Global News was in court Monday morning where Justice Mary Vallee confirmed Villi was dead. Sean O’Shea has more.
