Muzan has been creating demons for over a thousand years. Sometimes, he even allowed them to have specific privileges like creating new demons or changing their appearances and so on. So choosing any one demon to be his favorite is quite hard to say. Still, here's an explanation of Muzan’s favorite demon. Also, we will go through every demon he may like.


#1 Rui

The first demon that comes to my mind is Rui. He was the first kizuki we saw in the series and he is Muzan's favorite to some extent as well. Because Muzan definitely has an affection towards people who can’t go out by themselves. As we know Muzan once could not get out of his bed due to certain illnesses. Thus he might have related himself to Rui who had similar conditions. Muzan even had given Rui the special privilege of changing any existing demon’s appearance like him. Although he was a lower moon, Muzan was fond of him. Still, he is not Muzan’s the most favorite demon.

#2 Daki & Gyutaro

The next one is Gyutaro. It might be shocking to see Gyutaro on this list but Muzan really liked Gyutaro because of his violent nature and fighting style. Muzan even allowed Gyutaro to share the upper moon 6 title with his sister. Since Gyutaro’s driving force was Daki, Muzan also shows some affection towards Daki only to keep Gyutaro fighting. But the truth is, Muzan always considered Daki a weak demon and he even blamed Daki for holding Gyutaro back.

#3 Akaza

When it comes to Muzan’s favorite, Akaza is one of the top contenders because Muzan has given him special permission not to eat women despite knowing that Women can make demons stronger as they have the ability to give birth and they’re more nutritious and delicious. Also during the special missions, Muzan only sends Akaza. Like finding the blue spider lily or eliminating any hashira as we know that Akaza loves fighting.

#4 Nakime


The next one on the list is Nakime. You might be shocked to hear that Nakime is also on our list.
Well, Nakime is more like a toy to Muzan and he keeps her for his own convenience. Heck, he even killed her when she was no use of him. Nakime can manipulate the infinity castle and she can summon anyone to the castle by Muzan’s orders. You can say she works like an errand-runner. However, Muzan only entrusted some people only for his whereabouts. Other than Akaza and Nakime, barely anyone actually knows about his whereabouts.


#5 Gyokko

The next one on the list is Gyokko. Well you see, Muzan actually likes Gyokko for a different reason. Muzan actually likes the pots that Gyokko makes because the pots can be sold at higher prices. So you can see Muzan and Gyokko are more like business partners. For this reason, you can say Gyokko has to be the favorite demon of Muzan. Because Muzan also needs money to buy those tuxedos.

When it comes to Doma and Kokushibo, they both have a conditional relationship with Muzan. You see Doma is a psychopath who enjoys seeing people in pain, whereas Kokushibo is just an experiment to Muzan. Since both are strong and very important assets for him, he doesn’t mind. Surprisingly Muzan doesn’t like Doma at all. Doma doesn’t obey Muzan’s order, he passes his time sitting in his cult house and so on. Since he is the third strongest demon in existence, Muzan just ignores his nonchalant behavior because you can’t just buy strong demons from the supermarket.

Talking about Kokushibo, well you see, he has a similar face to Yoriichi, the man Muzan fears the most but Kokushio is a loyal dog, I mean a demon of Muzan. However, Kokushibo barely interacts with Muzan and he only became a demon to be stronger than Yoriichi. Since he is the strongest demon among the upper moons. Muzan doesn’t hate him at all but he doesn’t love him either.
