Today's Highlights:

An elderly man was gunned down while watching television at his home in San Fernando on Friday 05th May, 2023.
• The deceased has been identified as 69-year-old Selwyn Boxie aka “Uncle Sello” of Palmyra Village, San Fernando.
• Around 8:00pm, relatives heard a series of loud explosions at the home.
• Upon investigating, they discovered Boxie slumped against the chair in his living room suffering from gunshot wounds to the neck and chest and a Nissan Ad Wagon was seen fleeing the scene.
• The relatives subsequently contacted the police and emergency health services and Boxie was rushed to the San Fernando General Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Selwyn’s brother Kenneth Boxie, was shot and killed at his recreational sports bar in Palmyra Village, San Fernando on November, 27th, 2002.
Selwyn’s Nephew, Keagan Boxie was also shot in Mt George, Tobago on December 20th, 2012, but died at the hospital four (4) weeks later.
A man was gunned down in Dump Road, Arima on Friday 05th May, 2023.
• The deceased was identified as 26-year-old Anthony Joseph also known as “Boyo”.
• Anthony reportedly lost his life for a phone that was stolen from one of his relatives.


A boy was reportedly kidnapped, knocked out, and buggered by two men in the Sangre Grande area on Saturday 6th May 2023.
• Sometime between 2:30 and 3:30pm, the boy boarded the back seat of a PH taxi in Arima and asked to be taken to his home.
• While the car proceeded along the roadway, the driver passed the location which raised the boy’s suspicion.
• As the boy began to behave frantic and asked where the driver was taking him, a male passenger who was also seated in the back seat, placed something in his hands and covered the victim's nostrils, rendering him unconscious.
• Sometime later, the minor woke up in some bushes naked and realized that he had been sexually assaulted.
• He then made his way out from the bushes where a passerby informed him that he was in the Sangre Grande district.
• The boy subsequently made his way home where he reported the incident to his parents who later took him to the police station.


As the war continues in Warner Street, St Augustine, a family had to flee from their home after threats were made to set it ablaze on Friday 5th May, 2023.
• The house reportedly belongs to 27-year-old Aneesa Ramkissoon who was gunned down in the home on Friday 03rd March, 2023.
Aneesa’s sister, Seema’s home was burned down in an Arson attack on Tuesday 07th March, 2023.


A couple was charged after officers allegedly found a quantity of drugs at their home in Tobago on Saturday 06th May, 2023.
• The suspects were identified as 27-year-old Kizanne Best and her boyfriend 29-year-old Nicholas Mc Kellar of Ashella Drive, Lowland, Tobago.


Notorious bandit Kyle King has been caught and arrested in Church Street, Chase Village on Sunday 07th May, 2023.
• Kyle, who is originally known for stealing cell phones, was captured on many cctv footage, stealing items from several business places in different communities over the years.
• Myself, along with a group of officers, received information and were able to capture him.
