Mountain View Retreat: How to start the gas fire pit on the deck - Video

1. Unclip all clips on the hot tub, squeezing both sides of the clip and pulling up.
2. Lift the front half of the lid up and let it drop onto the back half so that you can slide it off into the frame.
3. Walk around to where the frame is and stand in the center. Grab both handles on the lid and gradually pull it off onto the metal frame aligning the metal tube in between the top and bottom halves of the lid. Adjust the position of the metal tubes so that it slides in between and pull the lid all the way onto the frame.
4. Push the lid down slightly and it will remain in a 45° angle off the side of the hot tub.

To close the lid, reverse the sequence
1. Standing next to the lid, lift it slightly to get it level, then with two hands, gently push it back onto the top of the hot tub.
2. Adjust the positioning so that each of the four corners is aligned with the corners.
3. Go to each of the 3 corners with clips and clip them into place.
