Day 103 Sanibel Island to Bunche Beach Anchorage 3.6 miles 1-12-25 - Video

Woke up early to get to church. It was a half hour scooter ride to get there and it was in the low 50s. It has been such a blessing to be able to make it to church for every Sunday since we started our journey. The scooters have been an awesome investment. After mass we took the long way back to the marina to get some footage on the GoPro of the damage Sanibel sustained two years ago when Hurricane Ian hit. Like I said earlier, it can take years for the affected areas to recover. Sanibel is in the process of turning it back around. Upon our return we prepared to leave for our next anchorage. It took us a full ½ hour to arrive and anchor. We planned it that way because tomorrow we are going to the Pink Shell Resort and Marina for a day of fun! Hot tubs, swimming pools, and more. Yes, we are splurging, but it looks like fun and it’s going to be sunny and in the low 70s. Looking forward to it.
